Trail Talk
Welcome to “Trail Talk” at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center in Duncan, Oklahoma.
There are two ways to see our broadcasts each week: Facebook Live and Zoom. This is your chance to experience the Heritage Center from the comfort of your own home!
Trail Talks are free to attend and cover a wide range of topics related to the Chisholm Trail.
The First Americans Fighting for the U.S. series will continue with part 5 on Wednesday, September 27 at 3 p.m. with Edie and Mary. This is such an interesting and inspiring series we don’t want to leave any of it out! Then on Thursday, September 28, Edie will be joined by Matt Axton. Matt is the son of country legend Hoyt Axton, and grandson of Mae Axton, Queen Mother of Nashville (Axton Legacy.) He is bringing his mountain-soul rock-and-roll to the Chisholm Trail Arts Council’s Live Series-right here in Duncan-on the same evening as our interview!! He will also be in other locations in Oklahoma this September/October promoting his single release “Golden Times” on the “Golden Times Tour:” Matt visited us last year and we are so excited he is coming back! Please plan to join us at 3 p.m. on Facebook Live or on Zoom by following links below.
Until then…Happy Trails!!
Unless otherwise noted, all programs will begin at 3 p.m. CDT, and we add the Zoom link and passwords here. Links go live about 2:50 p.m. CDT, and you can watch the Facebook Live feed at any time.
