Photography by Alan R Ball
Alan says, “I’ve viewed the world through a camera for fifty years, and I’m still as excited today as I was when I first borrowed my sister’s Kodak 126! Today I mostly shoot digital cameras but occasionally shoot film—35mm or medium format. My main photographic interest is the West: from landscapes to wildlife, especially bisons! For me, those wide open spaces of green meadows or gold prairies filled with magnificent sunsets and majestic bisons delight the eye and restore the spirit. I’ve exhibited at Red Earth, Cherokee Art Market, Paseo Arts Festival, Downtown Edmond Arts Festival, and at Contemporary Art Gallery in Oklahoma City.”
