Sprung from Red Earth
Sprung from Red Earth is flute maker/performer Duane J. Paul’s newest album. This CD features 15 tracks of beautiful flute music which Duane was inspired to create as he visited several outdoor locations in Oklahoma. He traveled to popular landscape destinations such as Medicine Park near Lawton, to Tahlequah, Black Mesa, the Parallel Forest, Red Rock Canyon and more. At each location the songs came to him as he took time to enjoy and appreciate the earth and his surroundings.
Duane crafts his own flutes, in the style of Native American tradition. He has performed often at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center, and with his friend and master flutist, Myron Beeson.
