Chisholm Trail Heritage Center is hosting a free writing workshop, Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, to be led by Oklahoma author Beth Robinson. She will inspire writers of all ages in this two hour workshop.
It is recommended participants arrive about 1:15 p.m. The workshop begins at 1:30 p.m. (The museum does not open until 1 p.m.) Robinson is an award-winning writer who creates engaging dialogue with the participants. She offers many writing exercises and participants will have a hands-on opportunity to explore the museum in at least one writing exercise.
Students who are considering entering the Heritage Center’s second annual Cowboy Youth Poetry Contest are encouraged to attend this free workshop. Deadlines for entries in the student contest are Nov. 1, 2019.
Full details will be added to the website and to the Facebook page for the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center. Registration for the workshop is not required, but is appreciated. To register, call (580) 252-6692, or email: toni@onthechisholmtrail.com
