The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center hosts a variety of engaging events celebrating the history, art, and culture of the Chisholm Trail and the American West. Join us for activities for both children and adults such as Cowpokes & Brushstrokes, Senior Sundays, & our incredible annual event for The National Day of the Cowboy.
The venue is ideal for private gatherings, offering unique settings like the Duncan General Store and outdoor grounds for memorable events.

Since the first celebration in 2010, this local event has grown, attracting many visitors from out of the area. It has become a much-anticipated event for local families.

Signature Art Events
Cowpokes & Brushstrokes

Cowpokes is a process-based art class where students and their adult work on fun art projects using various mediums. An adult must stay with the student. Ages 2-4.
Wranglers Art Class

Wranglers learn about the elements and principles of art as well as well-known artists and techniques while working on fun art projects using various mediums. Ages 5 & up.
Free Family Art Monday

We have three art projects each Monday - Pick one or pick all. All art supplies are provided. Entrance into the museum is not included. All ages welcome .
